Subject: ‘What makes a good painting?’ Art Club member Hagop, will do a watercolour demonstration and then lead a discussion with audience participation

Welcome to Lindsey who will share tips and techniques with ‘Earth Inks’, a medium similar to watercolour but with a more vibrant outcome.
21 March: Tom Walker
Tom, a member of the Pastel Society, will give an illustrated talk on his life and work as an artist & will include a pastel demonstration as well as poetry, music and video.
25 April: Val Fawbert
Val is a contemporary palette knife artist working in acrylics who specialises in Brighton & Hove city scenes.
23 May: Tony Parsons
Tony, a talented fine artist (as well as a gifted caricaturist), is going to paint a beachscape
27 June: Cecil Rice
Cecil makes a welcome return to show us more of his skill in watercolour, taking as his theme his favourite subject – the sea.
25 July: Benjamin Smith
Ben is young artist producing amazing contemporary works of art in the classical tradition. He will give an illustrated talk on the basics of facial anatomy.
